The role involves assisting in the management of projects through all phases, including schematic design, design development, and construction administration. Responsibilities include collaborating with the design team to create schematic designs, generating technical drawings using AutoCAD and SketchUp, and producing custom furnishing shop drawings. The position also requires preparing materials for client presentations, managing project-related files, sourcing and procuring furnishings, and handling project documentation such as proposals and invoices. Additionally, the role includes maintaining vendor relationships, attending meetings, managing multiple projects, and assisting with installations and project completion.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1-3 years of Interior Design experience in a similar role
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Interior Design or related field
• Strong skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp and 3D rendering software (Veras, Enscape etc.) Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite and Canva.
• Familiar with both MAC & Windows operating systems a plus
• Experience with Houzz Pro
• Knowledge of high end sources for furniture, finishes, fixtures, materials, and specifications for high end residential
• Experience in construction (ground up and/or remodels)
• Able to work independently, collaborate with a team, and multitask in a fast paced environment and have strong time management skills
• Are organized/ detail oriented and have great written and verbal communication skills
• Have a strong work ethic and are willing to jump in wherever needed, are enthusiastic and a self starter

The role entails managing multiple projects through all phases, from schematic design to installation, while providing direct support to the Senior Designer and Principal. Responsibilities include leading the project team, could include producing schematic designs, interpreting and providing feedback on technical drawings, and generating AutoCAD and SketchUp renderings. The position involves creating design presentations, overseeing the procurement process, and maintaining client relationships by keeping them informed of project progress. Additionally, the role includes managing project budgets, reviewing shop drawings, coordinating with junior team members on deliveries, and preparing specifications and schedules for furniture and finishes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-5 years experience in high-end residential design experience in a similar role
• Refined Client/Project Management skills and tactics
• Experience in all phases of project work including preparation of conceptual, schematic, design development and construction documents/supporting materials
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Suite and Canva.
• Must be familiar with both MAC & Windows operating systems.
• Strong understanding of Houzz Pro
• Understand custom furniture design, lighting specifications and window treatments
• Deep understanding of finish materials and knowledge of their required applications as well as installation requirements.
• Knowledge of high end sources for furniture, finishes, fixtures, materials, and specifications for high end residential and/or boutique commercial environments
• Critical thinking skills to come up with solutions and designs individual to each project
